Goldfinger ribeye steak

Ribeye steak is a real classic on the grill and a favorite dish of many meat lovers. Here is a recipe for a juicy ribeye steak on the barbecue:

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Remove the ribeye steak from the fridge and allow to come to room temperature.
  2. Preheat the grill and set to a high temperature.
  3. Brush the ribeye steak with oil and rub with our Helvetic Barbeque Goldfinger Rub.
  4. Place the steak on the hot grill rack and grill for about 3-4 minutes until grill marks have formed on the underside.
  5. Turn the steak over and grill for a further 3-4 minutes until the desired level of doneness is reached. You can use a meat thermometer to check the cooking level. For medium rare, the steak should have a core temperature of 54-57°C, for medium 57-63°C and for well done 63-69°C.
  6. Remove the steak from the grill and leave to rest for about 5-10 minutes to keep the meat juicy.
  7. Cut the steak into thin slices.

PS: Despite the incredible flavor of the ribeye steak, we recommend our Helvetic Barbeque O.D.B. Sauce. Don’t worry, it doesn’t drown out the flavor of the meat. On the contrary, it intensifies the taste of the meat!
