- A bunch of chives
- Don’t forget 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard.

Instructions:
- Let’s preheat the smoker to 180°C so that we can grill the chicken breast fillets.
- Wash the fresh romaine lettuce thoroughly and cut it into two pieces.
- Place the romaine lettuce halves cut side down on the grid.
- Now place the bacon cubes on the grill (we recommend a cast iron pan).
- Dip the bread cubes in olive oil and season them with Helvetic Barbeque Salt-n-Pepper RUB and place them on the grill until they are crispy.
- Now briefly place the romaine lettuce on the grill with the chicken breast fillets until the outer leaves are grilled but not black.
- Take the bread cubes and the romaine lettuce from the grill and place the whole lettuce half on a plate.
- For the dressing, take the high-quality olive oil and mix it with the chopped garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard. Season to taste with Helvetic Barbeque Salt-n-Pepper RUB.
- Now remove the chicken breast fillet from the grill (core temperature 65 degrees), leave it to rest briefly, cut it into strips and place it on the romaine lettuce.
- Now add the crispy bacon cubes, the crusty bread cubes and the freshly grated Parmesan.
- Now chop the chives and sprinkle them over the salad and pour the delicious dressing over the salad.
- Now you’re ready to enjoy the smoky César salad from the smoker!
PS: For the veggie version, you can omit the bacon and replace the chicken breast fillet with BBQ tofu.
