In the picturesque municipality of Büren an der Aare, nestled in the idyllic landscape of the Bernese Seeland, you will find Trüffel-FRANK – a paradise for truffle lovers. Since 2004, Evelyn and Beat Frank-Sutter have been passionately dedicated to hunting for truffles in the local forests. They are supported by their faithful Lagotto dogs Merino and Rosina, who have been specially trained for truffle hunting.
The Franks attach great importance to quality. During the season, they offer fresh truffles directly from the forest. What is not sold immediately is processed into various truffle products in their own production facility. These delicacies are produced and sold directly in the “Trüffelwerk”. If you book in advance, you can drop by, experience the tempting aroma of truffles and get advice on how to prepare them.
Swiss autumn truffles (Tuber uncinatum) are currently available. 100 grams of whole truffles cost CHF 70, while 100 grams of pieces (cuisine) are available for CHF 50. Orders are accepted by telephone or e-mail and delivered chilled by express delivery by post. Alternatively, you can also collect the truffles directly from the Trüffelwerk.
If you are looking for high-quality truffles and authentic truffle products, a visit to Trüffel-FRANK in Büren an der Aare is well worthwhile. Here, tradition, passion and quality combine to create a unique culinary experience.
