Wild boar pulled pork

Wild boar pulled pork is a delicious variation on classic pulled pork that has a little more flavor and aroma.

Here is a simple recipe for preparing wild boar pulled pork:

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the grill/oven to 120 degrees Celsius.
  2. Rub the wild boar fillet or shoulder generously with the Helvetic Barbeque Sauce Rub, making sure that the rub sticks to all sides.
  3. Place the meat on the grill/oven until the core temperature has reached 70 degrees.
  4. Place the meat in a roasting tin and baste with apple juice, game stock or chicken stock. Cover the roasting tin with aluminum foil and cook in the oven for 6-8 hours until the meat has reached a core temperature of 95 degrees, is very tender and can be pulled apart easily.
  5. Remove the meat from the roasting tin and place on a chopping board. Pull the meat apart with two forks so that it is divided into small pieces.
  6. Heat the Helvetic Barbeque Original Sauce in a pan over a medium heat. Place the pulled-apart meat in the BBQ sauce and stir well so that the meat is covered with the sauce.
  7. Serve the wild boar pulled pork on sandwich buns or burger buns and enjoy!

You can use the usual side dishes such as chips, salad, vegetables, etc. Grilled vegetables are highly recommended. You can put peppers, courgettes, onions, carrots, etc. in a roasting pan and place them directly under the meat in the oven/grill from step 3. In step 4, simply place the meat on top of the vegetables and continue according to the instructions. Continue according to the instructions…
